Market: Eastern or Central Timezone (Remote)

OTE: $110K-$120K

Job Summary: As an Account Executive, you will have immense responsibility directly tied to RoadRunner's ongoing growth strategy (new business). We're seeking a dynamic closer with a proven track record of sealing deals in a fast-paced, remote environment. The ideal candidate thrives behind a computer, effortlessly navigating multiple systems and platforms throughout the day. You should be comfortable with rapid task-switching, have strong technical aptitude, and possess the ability to close business consistently. This role demands a self-starter who excels in a digital workspace and can drive results without face-to-face interaction. If you're a tech-savvy closer who flourishes in a high-energy, virtual setting, we want to hear from you!

Primary Duties Including % of time:

  • 30% -Daily virtual meetings with Small to Medium Sized businesses (All Industry Sectors)
  • 30% - Present, consult, sell Roadrunner's "Cost Savings & Process Improvement Initiatives"
  • 15% - Accurately maintain a full sales pipeline in Salesforce
  • 25% - Prospect, source and develop NEW BUSINESS

Travel required: <=5%

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work in a remote environment while efficiently utilizing multiple systems to navigate the day to day needs of the role.
  • 3-5 years of experience prospecting, sourcing and developing new business
  • Ability to efficiently navigate prospective customers through the sales process with the main focus on closing new business.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
  • Building and maintaining your own pipeline through cold-calling and ongoing prospecting efforts.
  • Able to leverage and regularly communicate with a Top-Tier Inside Sales team to acquire new service contracts monthly.
  • Primary focus on results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills while making decisions in a timely manner.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
