About the role
The Research Associate is a permanent full-time role and will be responsible for the support of research and development activities requiring standard laboratory skills.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Read and understand all assigned QMS documents.
- Follow GLP guidelines in documenting all work.
- Follows work instructions and test protocols and properly document work forms as per Good Laboratory Practices.
- May update documents and submit deviations and DCO's.
- Writes lab notebook experimental reports with minimal supervision.
- Writes QMS test reports with supervision.
- Compile data and results then plan the next experiment with the guidance of a senior level team member.
- Plan and execute specific laboratory experiments with some guidance.
- Prepare and deliver presentations as needed.
- Is observant when running experiments. May be responsible for some troubleshooting.
- May be shadowed by new team members while conducting laboratory experiments as needed.
- May provide data and/or present information to external partners. Also, may participate in seminars and scientific conferences.
- Keep work areas clean and organized. Participate in laboratory decontamination efforts.

On Your First Day We'd Like You To Have
- B.S. required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree. No experience required with a Master's degree.
It's Great If You Have
- Proficient in basic laboratory skills and the use of complex laboratory equipment such as thermocyclers.
