(This role requires onsite work Monday through Friday, with no remote or hybrid option. This would be a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension)

ABOUT THE JOB

The Associate Bioengineer will support the Engineering team in the development of a diagnostic device. This candidate will perform modular and system level testing with members of the Research and Development team. Candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test protocols to ensure designs meet their specifications and function as intended.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT (Responsibilities)

  • Verification and Validation testing, writing test protocols and generating Test Reports.
  • Perform sub-system and component level characterization and functional testing.
  • Perform biological and engineering experiments.
  • Debug complex and interdependent biological and electromechanical subsystems.
  • Generate Engineering Change Orders
  • Other duties as assigned.

ON YOUR FIRST DAY WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE (Requirements & Education)

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Bioengineering, Biology, or related discipline.
  • 0-2 years work experience in industry.

IT’S GREAT IF YOU HAVE

  • Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong data analysis abilities.
